Starting with She, He, They, Them: Cultivating a climate of belonging for members of the LGBTQIA+ community in your school

It is vital to cultivate a climate of belonging for members of the LGBTQIA+ community within your classroom, school and district. Together, we will self-assess where we are on our inclusive leadership journey by exploring J. Brown's (2019) Inclusive Leader Continuum which includes: unawareness, awareness, being active, and being an advocate. By the end of the session, you will walk away with a greater sense of who you are as a change agent, but also ways in which you can begin to support LGBTQIA+ members within you school community.
